EMPIRE EVO 2
GSX-R 1000 L7.
An Empire Evo 2 with a freshly rebuilt Suzuki GSX-R 1000 L7 engine, offered as a complete car or rolling chassis. Located in Aston Somerville, near Broadway, Worcestershire.
“I previously listed the car for sale, but got cold feet when it came to taking a deposit. Unfortunately, an ever-growing business means I now need the garage space. I had a lot of interest in the rolling chassis and will entertain that option, although purchasing and installing the engine cost circa £12,000.” — Rob Clarke

- MBE 9A9 ECU with custom loom
- Separate loom for launch and traction control included, but not fitted
- Billet DME wet sump with an Empire-installed baffle
- Freshly rebuilt engine with only dyno run-in miles
- Full paddle shift with onboard compressor
CHASSIS & COMPETITION HISTORY
The car has considerable history. With previous owners, the Greenen family, it regularly qualified for run-offs using its previous 1070 engine configuration. With that engine, it recorded a low 25-second run at Shelsley Walsh and a 51-second run at Harewood.
Rob reports a 52-second Harewood run after 18 months out of the car, crediting the chassis’ drivability. It has a fresh setup from Empire and Quantum dampers, giving a compliant, predictable drive.
Rob also notes that an almost identical car won Class I overall in 2025 with the Weaver family, subsequently took Scottish records and remains competitive in Garry Warren’s hands.
SPARES & TRAILER
A spares package is available, including rear end plates; pricing for the car with spares is to be discussed. An Eco covered trailer is also available for circa £5,000. It fits the car and includes nose-cone storage, a tyre rack and tool storage.
“This is a top car and I will be sad to see it go after putting so much into it. Sensible offers considered, but I would rather pay to store it than accept a silly offer. If you want it as a roller, be quick — it is shortly due to have the final wiring work completed.” — Rob Clarke
